An incredible follow up novel to an amazing series!

Once upon a time...
Scratch that! We all know life isn’t like a bed of roses more like one full of thorns with an occasional pretty flower. It’s exactly those we need to cherish the most.
The story of Canyon and Arianna isn’t the prettiest but it is one that shows we can conquer life and live a life filled with love and hope.
Let it be us picks up where Let it be me stopped so make sure you have read book 1 first!
So we know that Canyon showed up at the courthouse to support Ari after all and after all this time apart. These two have never stopped loving each other and once they touch all feelings come rushing back.
For Ari and Shelby Montana has become home so the logical step is they go back home with Canyon.
...and they lived happily after?
Yeah unfortunately time didn’t stop and a big surprise awaits them at home. That particular surprise sets the tone for the rest of the book.
Trust and sticking together will be the key factors that follow.
Barbara Speak is for me an author that sticks out. Why? Because she isn’t afraid to not follow the flock and do her own thing and above all keep things real.
So do I recommend this series? A hundred times yes.

This book will leave you in awe.

Ari never expected to come home to Montana . When she got there she was hit with more than enough obstacles. Canyon loved her her more than life and during this book their love will be put to the test more than a few times. Take this incredible journey and fall in love with Canyon and Ari all over again.
I was able to predict what happened except for the epilogue and I still loved it. If you've read Let It Be Me then you must read this end to their journey.

This is a follow up I wish I hadn't read...

Let it Be Us is the follow up to a favorite summer read of mine, let it be me. I wanted to love Let it be Us as much, but it just didn't really work for me. First, its REALLY angsty. Its drama, piled on top of drama, then add in some more drama. Every page was more drama. I found myself skimming quite a bit. The situation between Canyon and Brooke was predictable and led to the biggest drama creation in the book. Then throw in Arianna and Shelby's mom returning and you get more drama. But, the worst? The ending! Something SUPER tragic happens, and you think its the end of the chapter but its not. Its the end of the book. Then you get an epilogue thats like 30 years in the future. Nothing is really explained! (What happened in the car? What happens to Brooke? What about the issue with Arianna and ring that they were fighting about? It just all ends really abruptly and it didn't work for me!) Ugh. Honestly, I think I would have been happier if I had just never picked this book up. I enjoyed Let it be Me, but now I'm not sure that I do any more because this book kind of ruined it for me.
